What is a bong

A Bong or Water Pipe is simply a smoking pipe which uses water to cool the smoke.

Bongs come in many differing shapes, sizes & colors, we even have a Bong with ice twist allowing you to add ice to your bong, some have a double reservoir But they will all work on the same principle!

Typically Bongs will have a head or cone which can be loaded with your chosen herbs, when alight the smoke from your herbs are drawn from the head, through the down pipe which has one end submerged in liquid for a filtering & cooling effect.

The mouth-piece is used to finally inhale the smoke that has travelled down the down-pipe, through the fluid in the base of the container.

Why use a Bong

Bongs allow a larger volume of smoked herbs to be inhaled into the lungs when compared to other smoking methods suh such as Pipes or spliffs! The Smoke from a bong is filtered and cooled thus allowing the smoker to enjoy a bigger and cleaner hit! Sometimes Lime water or herbal teas are used instead giving the smoke a different taste. However Such liquids make Bong Cealing a difficult process.

How to toke a Bong

To Toke a Bong you must draw smoke into the chamber fist. Take a deep breath and slowly but consistently pull the smoke into the bong, Inhale deeply and hold the smoke down for as long as possible to maximize the hit! Now Sit back, exhale and enjoy!!

Cleaning & Storing Your Bong

The secret to a long lasting, desirable bong is to keep it clean and dry after a heavy smoking session. Just like Riding a bike through a muddy field, If you had some respect for it you will clean all traces of dirt and moisture off letting you enjoy it time & time again! taking an extra couple of minutes at the end of each smoke will certainly help you to do this!

Make you're own bong

Obtaining a bong does not have to be an expensive experience! Simply any standard 500ml bottle will do the job, check out our Bottle to bong Kit for a hassle from piece of kit.

If you opt for making a bong from house hold waste - try to obtain a copper down pipe, copper requires an extremley high temperature before it gives off dangerous fumes, and there's no way of reaching that temperature using standard lighters. Other materials such as plastic will give off dangerous fumes that are harmful if inhaled so avoid at all costs!
Some people use aluminium foil as a Pipe Gauze or Cone Gauze. Aluminium releases deadly fumes when heated and burnt so again avoid like the plague.
